My story
My Baseball Cards began as a personal collection, built up more than 40 years ago. It’s mostly Topps, Fleer and Donruss cards from the early 1980s, collected as a hobby while I was living and going to school in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m proud of the collection, and I’m now happy to pass pieces of it on to other collectors.
Every card on this site has been catalogued individually, with its condition, set details and a genuine photo of the actual card, never a stock image. I know how much that detail matters when you’re building or completing a collection of your own.
To list a collection this size, I scanned the cards in binder pages and used an image slicer to split them into single cards. Because of that, a card can look slightly soft, reflective or off-centre in its photo, and that’s usually the scan rather than the card itself. I can take a fresh, close-up photo of any individual card, front and back, so you can check it before you buy.
If you’re after a specific card, curious about condition or grading, or just want to talk cards, get in touch. I’m always happy to hear from fellow collectors.
My Card Grader
In order to help to showcase the rarer cards I have built my own Card Grader. I have included a couple of images to show how it works.
The Card Grader is not PSA standard but it does help to give a sense of the quality or otherwise of the card. It has been built on the side of caution. If the card were to be graded it is more likely to be higher than lower.
Once all cards have been loaded to the website I will ensure all the rarer cards are run through the Card Grader.
